Figures come straight from the legal text (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, Art. 8(2)/8(3)): phase 1 (2031) cobalt 16% / lead 85% / lithium 6% / nickel 6%; phase 2 (2036) cobalt 26% / lead 85% / lithium 12% / nickel 15%. Secondary sources often misstate these — the regulation is the reference.

Reuse this work

Text, figures and structured data on this page are free to reuse (including commercially), under two conditions:

  1. Attribution: credit "Source: Trustbase Lab" and keep a link to https://trustbaselab.com/en/record/tbm-068/;
  2. Keep the identifiers: when citing a single fact, keep the record ID, as_of and confidence grade — they are the carriers of verifiability. Remove them and the citation loses its point.

Figures are generated at build time as inline SVG from our own data (data.json) — no external chart services, reproducible offline. Upstream third-party sources (UN Comtrade, EU official journals, ISO, WHO and others) remain the property of their respective rights holders; this page cites them factually and attributes them.
