China's guideline says 'salt under 5 g/day'; WHO (record tbm-017) states that 1 g of sodium ≈ 2.5 g of salt, so 5 g salt ≈ 2.0 g sodium/day. Sodium and salt are two labels for one limit — mixing them up is the most common misreading.
